So my brother's girlfriend is coming over for dinner. A family dinner.
I'm not sure who to be more afraid for. I'll settle for not bothering and spending my energy wishing I was old enough to get sake at the table.

Alright. Everybody who put in a request has been considered and there are kittens are going to the following homes.
Suzumo-sensei: you get the chubby one who likes you best.
Tentsuke-san: you get the skinny one which will eat your rats (and probably your toes while you sleep as well - wear boots).
Hoshino-san: you get the quiet one, since that seems appropriate.
Kiba, you said you had somebody in mind for the extremely antisocial last one?
So you may come to the Hyuuga Compound at any time and collect your new companions. I have had them all vaccinated, de-wormed and flea treated. Treat them well or I will rip your face off.

I managed to convince Mother to let two of the kittens stay at the Hyuuga Compound, once they're old enough to be released from the Veteranary Clinic.
This means four black and white kittens require homes in Konoha. They'll be ready for re-homing next week, and I'll take you to visit them if you want to see what they're like for personalities and such.
They're only going to good homes. Tell me if you're interested. |

I found a bag of kittens in the back alleys behind the Compound. Not because I was sneaking out that way, of course not. There's six of them and they don't look very healthy. But they keep crying and hiding in my shirt and eating my hair and I really don't know what to do because they won't eat any of the milk or meat I put down for them.
Help?

I'm one year older today. Eleven years old.
There won't be any garish celebrations and such, but eleven is only one year younger than how old Hinaji-niisan and Nejiko-neesan were when they graduated from the Konoha Ninja Academy.
That means something for me, doesn't it? Or maybe I only wish it did.

...I'm allergic to peanuts.
How awkward. But I suppose it was even more awkward I didn't find out until I went into anaphylactic shock.
Thank goodness I made it to the village Hospital on my own before my throat closed completely. Now I have to get back home before Mother realizes anything happened.

I've avoided this for years, but given recent events within the family I can't ignore my responsibilities to recording what I can of the truth of the matters.
Not that I'm allowed to see very much, but it isn't hard to miss Nejiko-neesan's blood on the dojo floor, or the fact that Hinaji-niisan hasn't been able to look at me for days. And mother hasn't been able to look away from me.
So now I'm keeping a journal, in secret mostly I intend. It's not as though I attend the Academy or have friends to write about or share it with. Mother says I don't need any. But Hinaji-niisan and Nejiko-neesan rely on theirs more than anything...
I'm rambling. Oh damn. I didn't know I could do that.
Hopefully this journal won't be a negative influence.
